Q&A with Supervisor Steve Allen
Tell me about your journey at ERMCO.

I started at ERMCO in 2014 and worked as a builder in Three Phase Plant Final Assembly Department. After about six months, I was promoted to Second Shift Team Leader. in February 2021, I was promoted to Third Shift Plant Supervisor. I'm still learning, but I've enjoyed my job thanks to the great people I've met along the way.

What advice would you give me for me to be successful at ERMCO?

My advice is you must always be willing to learn and you must always work hard. Hard work pays off.

How can I support our team and add value to ERMCO?

As a new employee you should make sure that you do your part and some days it may take a little extra to get things accomplished. You should help set the standard for others in your department and especially for new employees who come aboard after you.

How can I further my potential?

The most important thing you can do is be willing to learn different jobs in the company. Don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. If there is some additional task or learning opportunity you are interested in then don't hesitate to let me know.

What is the best way for me to communicate with you?

I work third shift so it is easy for third shift employees to find me. If someone from first or second shift wants to contact me or if someone has questions about the mentor program, they can reach me via email. I check it daily.

If I can't make it to work, what do I do?

You should call the team leader desk phone specific to your area. Clearly state your first and last name and reason for missing work. You must do this one hour before your shift begins.
