ERMCO's May 2023 Culture Champion and Shipping Department Lead Person Matt Pollack has been a member of Team ERMCO for six years.
He began as a forklift driver and transitioned to Logistics Coordinator after two years before being promoted to his current role.
"ERMCO has positively impacted me because I've been given the opportunity to progress personally and professionally," Matt explained.
Logistics Supervisor, Logan Lumley, nominated Matt for May's Culture Champion.
“Matt has had various responsibilities within our department and always does an outstanding job and more than is expected," said Lumley. "He sets the bar high for our team."
Logan noted that Matt is timely, dedicated, self-motivated, and a team player who follows up with the shipping and logistics department employees.
"He always looks for ways to improve the logistics and shipping process, from taking classes to searching new ideas on the web of how large organizations handle the same aspects," Lumley continued. "Matt involves and trusts his team and encourages them to take ownership. He provides excellent service to the multiple carriers hauling ERMCO freight.”
“The people at ERMCO are what I enjoy the most," added Matt. "I also enjoy knowing that we all work together to meet the needs of others. "I trust my team, but at the same time, I'm always willing to help with any issue they face. I think this gives them confidence in what they do, but they also know I'm available whenever they need me."
