Three Phase Plant

Your supervisor, Logan Pugh, started at ERMCO in 2017 as Core Press Operator in the Pad Plant. He later trained as a Hoist Operator and learned all other jobs in the Core Department. In 2019, he was promoted to Second Shift Team Leader. He worked as a Team Leader until he was promoted to Three Phase Core Department Supervisor in 2022.

Logan had friends who encouraged him to apply for work at ERMCO. They told him that the benefits and pay were excellent. He has stayed at ERMCO because he likes the atmosphere and the people who make up Team ERMCO.

When Logan isn't working, he enjoys hunting, fishing and riding side by sides with his friends and family.

Tell me about your journey at ERMCO.

I started in October 2017 as a Core Press Operator in the Pad Plant. I stayed in that department learning all required jobs - hoist operator, etc - before being promoted to Second Shift Team Leader in December 2019. In July 2022, I moved to the Three Phase Plant when I was promoted to Three Phase Core Department Supervisor.

What advice would you give me for me to be successful at ERMCO?

You should show up to work everyday and be on time. It's also crucial that you want to learn and are willing to do what is asked of you. Don't be afraid to ask questions when you are being trained and don't be afraid to jump right into it because that's how you learn. The best training you can have is hands-on training.

How can I support our team and add value to ERMCO?

Good team members show up on time everyday with a positive attitude. They are also willing to help other teammates when needed. They never say, "That isn't my job."

How can I further my potential?

Show interest and challenge yourself with new work assignments. Don't hesitate to talk to me or your Team Leader about growth and/or learning opportunities. Make sure you set clear goals that are achievable in the time allowed.

What is the best way for me to communicate with you?

Don't hesitate to come to my office or stop me on the floor. I'm always willing to talk. I start my morning by talking to my third shift employees and end my day by talking to my second shift employees.

If I can't make it to work, what do I do?

If you work in the Core Department, you should call 731-201-0712. Your call will go the Team Leader's desk phone. If no one answers, please leave a clear message with your first and last name and reason for missing work. This must be done ONE HOUR PRIOR TO YOUR SHIFT start time. Then you should go to UKG and apply for time off to cover your absence.

Hunter likes working at ERMCO because of the opportunities for advancement and teamwork. Hunter has not been a team leader for long but he is working hard to become a great leader. He sees his future at ERMCO and wants to continue climbing the ranks and succeeding.
