Your supervisor, Jimmy Pleasant, began at ERMCO in 2018 in the Three Phase Plant Final Assembly department. "After working in Final Assembly, I bid to the Three Phase Core Department, where I ran the TRANCO. After a few months, I was offered the Third Shift Leader position. I worked as the Three Phase Core department Shift Leader for about a year before moving to the Pad Plant as the Second Shift Plant Supervisor. After eight months in that role, I was selected as Pad Plant Metal Prep Department Supervisor in 2022," he explained.

"I wanted to work at ERMCO because of the benefits package. I knew the impact that would have on my family," Jimmy added.

Jimmy said he has stayed at ERMCO because of the people who work here and "being able to take part in manufacturing a product that means something."

Tell me about your journey at ERMCO.

I began in September 2018 in the Three Phase Final Assembly. After working in the Final Assembly Department, I bid to the Three Phase Core Department, where I operated the TRANCO. After a few months of running a TRANCO, I was promoted to Third Shift Leader. I worked in that position for nearly a year before moving to Pad Plant as the Second Shift Plant Supervisor. After eight months in that position, I moved to Metal Prep Department Supervisor. I have been in this position since July 2022.

What are the most important parts of my job at ERMCO?

Safety, Quality, and willingness to learn are the most critical parts of your job.

How can I support our team and add value to ERMCO?

Be a valuable team member by showing up and doing your part. We are a team, so help your fellow teammates when needed.

What is the chain of command if I have questions, concerns or suggestions about my work environment?

Speak with your shift leader because they will most likely be your first point of contact. But always know that you can come to me with any concerns. If the issue is not resolved after coming to me, you should go to HR.

What is the best way for me to communicate with you?

You can find me in my office during my work hours or reach me on my cell phone after hours.

If I can't make it to work, what do I do?

Contact your Shift Leader at the cell phone number provided at least an hour before your shift. If they do not answer, leave a detailed message with your first and last name and reason for missing work. If they do not answer, you can call my cell phone.

Jason Finnell, 1st Shift

Jason Finnell began his career at ERMCO in 2007 as a material handler. During his 14 years at ERMCO, he has worked in many jobs, including Winder, 3PH Final Internal Assembly, Brake Press Operator, Tank Shop Welder, and Tank Shop Shift Leader. Finnell enjoys working with his team and said, "Being a shift leader is about helping my team and caring for them when needed." He said if he could change anything about his career at ERMCO, it would be that he wishes he had started sooner.

Carington Keller, 2nd Shift

Carington Keller began his career at ERMCO in November 2016. He worked as a Seam Welder on Pole Tanks. While at ERMCO, he has worked as a Three Phase Quality Utility Technician, Three Phase Coil Winder, and Pad Plant Paint Department Floater. He was promoted to Pad Plant Metal Prep Second Shift Team Leader in 2022. Carington enjoys working at ERMCO because he knows he is part of something bigger. "The pride I feel knowing I'm part of something bigger than myself. We help so many communities when disasters strike." He also likes the family atmosphere, "Our team of employees is like family. Our willingness to help each other is one of our greatest attributes. No one acts like they are better than anybody else. We all win together."

Jeremy Morris, 3rd Shift

Jeremy Morris began his career at ERMCO in October 2019 in the Pad Plant Paint Department as a Line Loader. He also operated the Amada Press before being promoted to Metal Prep Shift Leader in 2022. "There are several things I like about ERMCO. ERMCO gives you the ability to grow as a person and the satisfaction of knowing that what we produce impacts so many people all over the world," Jeremy said. When asked to describe his team, he said, "Our team here is 'Family.' We are all willing to go the extra mile to help each other because we are all in this together and have a common goal. We also help each other grow."
