Pole Plant Third Shift Supervisor Jessie Ashley was selected as ERMCO's August Culture Champion by ERMCO's Leadership Culture Council.

Jessie began his career at ERMCO in 1984 in the Pad Final Assembly Department. Prior to becoming the Pole Plant Third Shift Supervisor, he worked in Core/Coil and Quality.

Jessie was selected from 12 other nominees because he lives the ERMCO Values of Teamwork, Quality, Ownership, Service, and Innovation daily.

In March, Jessie implemented and currently manages the Pole Mentorship Program. The program is a learning relationship between veteran employees and new employees that focuses on long-term career development with the primary purpose of driving personal growth by building skills, knowledge, and understanding and fostering employee relationships. The program has improved communication, employee engagement, teamwork, ownership, and employee retention.
