HIGH VOLTAGE ARRESTER

ECI manufactures a Heavy Duty lightning arrester for the High voltage side of pole mount distribution transformers. When an overvoltage occurs on the high side of a transformer the MOV blocks conduct the voltage to ground diverting issues from expensive utility equipment. Once the voltage returns to normal operating voltage the MOV blocks stop conducting. If the Arrester Ground Lead disconnector activates, the whole arrester should be replaced as it is no longer operational.
