Your Supervisor, Chris Reed, started at ERMCO in 2014 as a Wash Booth Operator in the Pad Plant Final Assembly Department. Chris explained his journey: "I worked my way up to Third Shift Leader from the production floor. I then became First Shift Leader after about six years. After another year on the third shift, I was promoted to Pad Plant Final Assembly Supervisor."

Chris decided to make ERMCO his career because of the great pay and insurance, plus it is close to home.

He likes working at ERMCO because of the importance of our products. "Knowing that I help build a better community for my family and friends by continuing to make ERMCO the #1 transformer builder in America gives me a lot of pride," he said.

Chris enjoys golfing, hunting, going to the lake, and trail riding in his jeep when he isn't at work.

Tell me about your journey at ERMCO.

I started at ERMCO in May 2014 as a wash booth operator in Final Assembly. I worked my way up to Third Shift Leader from the production floor. I then became First Shift Leader after about six years. I was then promoted to Third Shift Supervisor. After another year on third shift, I was promoted to Pad Final Assembly Department Supervisor.

What are the most important parts of my job at ERMCO?

Safety is the most important. You should always have a good attitude and be a team player.

How can I support our team and add value to ERMCO?

Show up for your scheduled shift and learn every aspect of your job.

What is the chain of command if I have questions, concerns or suggestions about my work environment?

Speak with your shift leader because they will most likely be your first point of contact. But always know that you can come to me with any concerns. If the issue is not resolved after coming to me, you should go to HR.

What is the best way for me to communicate with you?

To report an absence, you should call your shift leader at 731-287-4010. If they do not answer, leave a detailed message with your first and last name and reason for missing work. You must do this one hour before your shift begins.

Dustin Headley
1st shift (7AM - 3PM)

Dustin began his career at ERMCO in June 2016 in the Pad Plant Core Core Assembly Department on the coil building table. In June 2022, he moved to Pad Final Assembly Department and was promoted to Department Shift Lead in August 2022. Dustin enjoys working at ERMCO because of the pay, benefits, job security, and team mindset that we have. "We work together and motivate each other," he said.

Michael Ray, 3rd Shift

Michael began his career at ERMCO in September 2021 at the Pad Plant Final Assembly Department as a Door Builder. "I started on the second shift as a door builder. I knew early in my career at ERMCO that I wanted to climb the ladder as fast as possible. So, seven months later, the third shift team leader job was posted. I submitted my resume, talked with my supervisor, and got the job." Michael said he enjoys the teamwork, family environment, and excellent benefits that ERMCO offers. "My team understands that we have a goal and that the only way to reach that goal is by working together," he said.
